Melbourne Museum

“I liked it on the bus because I played with my buddy”

On Tuesday 20th May the whole of Bittern Primary School went to the Melbourne Museum to celebrate Education Week.
At the museum the prep students were very well behaved.  They used their manners and they listened to all of the information that was being presented.

We got to see the Bugs Alive gallery where we saw spiders, butterflies and crickets.

“I liked the spiders because one was really hairy”

We went to the Dinosaur gallery where we saw lots of dinosaur skeletons and loads of interesting things.

“I liked the video of the dinosaurs hatching”

We walked through the Forest gallery where we saw fish and very interesting plants.
“I like when we went into the tunnel because it was all dark and really cool”

We visited the Marine gallery which was full of fish.
“I liked the squid because it was huge and white”

The Wild gallery was full of interesting animals and it was very informative.

“I liked seeing the kangaroo, the wombat and the animal with strange eyes”

Our last stop was the Melbourne Story gallery which has Pharlap, out houses and olden day carriages.

“I like Fastlap because he was racing in the old movie”
"I liked the outside toilet"

We would love to thank our parent helpers once again for their ongoing support.

Thank you
Bianca, Kerry and Minka

We also thank those parents who offered to help us on the day but were unable to fit on the bus.
